Cacciatore
Cacciatore or 'hunter' in English , is a small salami made with selected pork meat and then cured. The name comes from the fact that, because of is small size, the Cacciatore was the perfect snack for hunters on a cold rainy day. It would provide enough energy for them during a long, hard day in the outdoors. Today, it is one of the most popular salami in Italy and abroad.
